Description

Welcome to the Family Enterprise Day registration page !

The INSEAD Wendel International Centre in partnership with the Hénokiens Association invite you to join us for a half-day conference at INSEAD’s Fontainebleau campus on Saturday, 15 September 2018.

The agenda of this unique event will address questions such as:

How long-standing family businesses safeguard their values and traditions

How they transmit their entrepreneurial spirit to the next generation

Why creativity is so important to their survival

How to motivate the next generation to keep them engaged

Launched in 1981, the Hénokiens are some of the oldest family-owned companies in Europe and Japan, around 47 in total, including well-known names like Mellerio dits Meller (est. 1515), Beretta (est. 1526), and Peugeot (est. 1810). Their descendants are still in control of their firms, either directly or indirectly, and as a result have honed their ability to transmit family values and traditions to the next generation. At the Family Enterprise Day, a panel of experts and practitioners from the Hénokiens, the business community and academia will lead a discussion of the lessons to be learned from these extraordinary enterprises.

The event is designed for members of family businesses, INSEAD students, Hénokiens, FBN members, and member families of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Third-party service providers to family enterprises are welcome to attend at the invitation of a member of a family business to ensure an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality.

We encourage you to register for what promises to be a wonderful and impactful half-day of learning and exchange.
